Der folgende Kurzfilm spielt in einer dystopischen Zukunft, in der es so gut wie keine Bücher mehr gibt. Passend zur gestrigen Karikatur, nun der folgende Film, der in Buchläden in London und Kent gedreht wurde. Die Regiesseure des Films sind Richard Dadd & Dan Fryer. Der Film ist eine Hymne bzw. ein Plädoyer für unabhängige und alternative Buchhandlungen, wie sie in einigen Städten zunehmen verschwinden:

Vidya Books ist eine interaktive Bucherfahrung, welche über ein iPad/iPhone app läuft.Es handelt sich um einen Roman. Das besondere ist, dass es sich gleichzeitig um ein Buch und ein Spiel handelt. Bei Vidya Books kann es sich um Abenteuerromane handeln, traditionellen Romanen oder modernen Action-Games, die etwas Neues und Magisches schaffen. Mit diesen userorientierten und interaktiven Bücher bestimmt der Nutzer den Fortgang der Story. Bei einer klassischen Geschichte hat die Geschichte eine Richtung und ist von Anfang an festgelegt. Hier kommt es auf die Aufmerksamkeit an und die eigene Wahl an, wie sich eine Geschichte weiterentwickelt. Die erste Geschichte von Vidya Book ist ein episches Abenteur im Stil von Indiana Jones, Uncharted und Tomb Raider. Unser Held/Unsere Heldin reist quer über den Globus, um ein Mysterium aufzudecken, das mehrere Jahrhunderte umfasst. Die Geschichte spricht gleichermaßen Junge und Alte an. Der Titel kann frei durch jeden User gewählt werden.
