Die Eröffnung der neuen Deichman Public Library in Oslo

Die neue Traumbibliothek in Oslo ist nun endlich offen! Am 18. Juni war der Eröffnungstag der neuen Zentralbibliothek im Stadtteil Bjørvika.

Per (8) im Video half zusammen mit 1000 Schüler*innen beim symbolischen Umzug in die neue Deichman Library. Der Schüler im Video nahm sein Lieblingsbuch “Harry Potter” vom alten Standort in das neue Gebäude mit. Diese Bibliothek wird mit Sicherheit das neue Ausflugsziel für Buchliebhaber*innen, Designanhänger*innen und Architekturbewunderfans. In einem gesonderten Blogbeitrag sollte auf diese neue Bibliothek nochmals ausführlicher eingegangen werden.

Indiens kleine Bibliothekarin

Die 9-Jahre-alte Muskaan Ahirwar führt eine freie Bibliothek für Kinder in einem von Armut geprägten Stadtteil der indischen Stadt Bhopal. Kinder können in ihrer Freizeit mit anderen zusammen lesen und Bücher ausleihen. Inzwischen umfasst ihre Bibliothek 700 Bücher und pro Tag erreicht sie 25 Besucher.
