[Kurz] Der BVB / das Gateway Bayern mit Browser-Plugin

Fast hätte ich es übersehen, obwohl ich täglich viel mit dem Gateway Bayern zu tun habe, aber seit neustem gibt es ein Browser-Plugin, mit dem man den Katalog wie Google bequem aus dem Browser heraus durchsuchen kann.
Mit dem Suchmaschinen-PlugIn des BibliotheksVerbunds Bayern (BVB) wird Ihre Literaturrecherche im Portal Gateway Bayern jetzt noch einfacher und noch viel schneller. Denn, egal, ob sie sich gerade mit Ihrem Browser auf unserem Portal befinden oder nicht, die BVB-Suchleiste steht Ihnen immer suchbereit zur Seite (nur im Firefox ab Version 2 und höher und Internet Explorer ab Version 7 und höher).
Sie brauchen nur noch Ihren Suchbegriff dort einzutragen und Ihre Enter-Taste zu drücken. Und schon erscheint, wie gewohnt, in Ihrem Browserfenster Ihre Gateway-Bayern-Trefferliste.

Blogtuning
Habe den Sonntagabend genutzt, um ein wenig am Blogtuning zu arbeiten. Daher sind verschiedene Widgets verschwunden, bestimmte Zusatzinformationsangebote verschwunden. Vielen Dank für die vielen Ratschläge von Edlef Stabenau über Twitter.
Das Tuning ist natürlich ein Tropfen auf den heißen Stein, da das eigentliche Problem bei Strato liegt. Die Datenbankanbindung ist das Nadelör. Eine schnelle Problembehebung ist leider nicht in Sicht, da der Vertrag mit Strato noch einige Monate geht.
