So umgehen Sie das Kindle-DRM

Amazon schafft es mit immer neuen Angeboten, z.B. das E-Book zum Buch (kostengünstig, kostenfrei) oder die kostenfreien MP3s zur gekauften CD (Autorip), Kunden dauerhafter an sich zu binden. Das Kindle-DRM stört jedoch viele, weil es das Buch von einem bestimmten Lesegerät abhängig macht und somit den Nutzer auf einen bestimmten Anbieter festlegt. Das folgende Video, das Michael Schmalenstroer in seinem Blog vorstellt, zeigt eine Variante, wie man Kindle-DRM oder sicherlich auch das DRM der Onleihe oder andere ePub-E-Books ganz analog umgehen kann. Das Video zeigt auf sehr kreative Weise, wie man seine Privatkopie sichern kann. Umgesetzt wurde diese Variante des “Do-it-yourself Buchscanners” durch Peter Purgathofer, Professor für interaktive Systeme an der TU Wien.
