Die Sterling Memorial Library wurde im gothischen Stil von James Gambell Rogers entworfen und 1930 eröffnet. Bekannt ist vor allem ihre kathedralenähnliche Größe und ihr reich-verzierter Innenbereich. Sie ist die größe der Bibliotheken der Yale University. Die Bibliothek der Yale University ist eine der weltweit größten Forschungsbibliotheken, die Bestände sammelt, erhält und einen Zugang zu diesen ermöglicht.
